About OTC Plus 3-in-1

This OTC-style interface (named after Toyota's dealer IT2/IT3 hardware) is mainly used with Toyota Techstream on a laptop. It is also advertised for Nissan and Volvo software.

Supported vehicles

  • Toyota and Lexus from 1996. The Techstream versions commonly bundled cover models up to about 2018.
  • Nissan and Volvo support is a seller claim that could not be independently confirmed.

What it can do

  • With Techstream: codes, live data, active tests, customisation (coding) and selected reprogramming.

Strengths

  • Gives Toyota owners near-dealer diagnostics and customisation.

Limitations

  • Copy hardware, so reprogramming carries risk.
  • Newer Toyotas need recent Techstream versions or Toyota's newer GTS software.

OBD4 does not provide software, licences or downloads.
