Copyright
Last updated: 4 November 2026
OBD4 does not host software downloads and does not allow cracked software, licence keys, or links to them. We remove infringing material when we become aware of it.
How to send a notice
If you have an account, you can use the Report link on the content and choose the piracy or copyright reason. Anyone can also use the contact form with the topic "Copyright notice". So that we can act on it, please include:
- the exact URL of the content,
- the work you believe is infringed, and why the content infringes it,
- your name and email address, and if you act for the rights holder, who that is,
- a statement that you believe in good faith that the information in your notice is accurate and complete.
What happens next
- We confirm receipt if you gave an email address.
- We review the notice and may remove or restrict the content. We then tell you what we decided, and how you can challenge it.
- We tell the member who posted the content what we did and why. We may share the substance of your notice, but we keep your name private unless the law requires otherwise or it is needed to resolve the claim.
If your content was removed
You can challenge the decision within six months through the contact form, explaining why the content is lawful, for example because you have permission. If you were right, we restore it.
Repeat infringement and false notices
We may suspend or close accounts that repeatedly post infringing material. We may also stop processing notices from anyone who repeatedly sends manifestly unfounded ones, after a warning.
