About Renolink

Renolink is a programming-oriented tool for Renault and Dacia. It complements dealer-style diagnostics such as CAN Clip rather than replacing them.

Supported vehicles

  • Renault and Dacia of roughly the last two decades. Newer releases add functions for models such as Clio V and Mégane IV.
  • Write access on the newest secure-gateway models is limited.

What it can do

  • Read and clear codes in all ECUs.
  • Key coding, adding and deleting keys, and UCH and engine ECU matching.
  • Airbag crash-data clearing, EEPROM read/write, and configuration such as power steering and EPS changes.

Strengths

  • Does jobs that otherwise need dealer access or bench programming, at low cost.

Limitations

  • Little guidance and a real risk of bricking an ECU if a procedure is run on the wrong module.
  • Not a guided fault-finding tool.

OBD4 does not provide software, licences or downloads.
