About wiTECH 2.0

wiTECH 2.0 is the browser-based diagnostic system of FCA, now Stellantis, for its North American brands. Because the software runs in the cloud, a working internet connection is part of the tool.

What it can do

  • Fault codes, data displays and actuator tests for every module.
  • ECU flashing and proxy configuration.

Subscription

  • The diagnostic subscription is sold per year, with shorter options reported.
  • Flashing needs a separate Vehicle Reprogramming Subscription. Each one covers all ECUs needing an update on one VIN for one year.

Hardware

  • A secure MicroPod II, or a J2534 device on the FCA verified list. Older wiPODs no longer work.

Limitations

  • No internet means no diagnostics.

Good to know

Stellantis publishes its verified J2534 device list in the wiTECH knowledge base, so check it before buying hardware. OBD4 does not provide software, licences or downloads.
