About XTOOL D5S
The D5S builds on the D5 by adding the electronic parking brake as a fifth system, more service functions and FCA secure-gateway access.
Supported vehicles
- OBD-II vehicles from 1996, with XTOOL quoting more than 10,000 models. Indian domestic brands are not supported.
- CAN FD, plus FCA AutoAuth for recent Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge and Fiat models.
- Where a car combines systems in one module (for example ABS with EPB), the D5S may show them as a single system.
What it can do
- Codes and live data (up to four graphs) for the engine, transmission, ABS, airbag and EPB.
- About 15–16 service functions, including EPB, SAS, BMS, throttle relearn and oil reset, plus a battery test and diagnostic reports.
Strengths
- Free updates for life.
- 32 GB of storage, expandable by memory card.

- No active tests or coding.
- Limited to five systems.
