About ANCEL BD310
The BD310 has two modes. It can be used as a small handheld with its own screen, or as a wireless adapter for ANCEL's app on Android and iOS.
Supported vehicles
- OBD-II and EOBD vehicles, using the CAN and J1850 protocols, from 1996.
What it can do
- Read and clear generic engine codes, readiness, freeze frame and live data.
- In app mode it adds dashboards and basic battery and performance readings.
Strengths
- Flexible: it works with or without a phone.
- Low price.
Limitations
- Generic OBD-II only, with no manufacturer-specific systems.
- Few independent reviews exist, so app quality and long-term reliability are not well documented.
