P2152: Fuel Injector Group C Supply Voltage Circuit/Open

What does P2152 mean?

P2152 belongs to the third shared injector supply, so it appears only on engines with at least three injector groups or, at GM petrol engines, at least three cylinders. GM's 2009 Duramax puts injectors 2 and 5 into group 3 and flags an open, short or missing load after 6 ms, type A. VW's 2014 Touareg V6 TDI stores it when the diagnostic signal of the group C power stage fails, and the Passat VR6 allows a wider high-side window for this group, below 2.3 A or above 18.6 A. In GM petrol direct injection it covers the high-side control line of cylinder 3; GM bulletin PIP4924D lists it among injector codes on 3.0 L and 3.6 L V6 engines whose injector harness rubs through. Misfire on the related cylinders is the usual effect.

The code tells you which monitor failed, not which part is broken. Test before replacing parts.
