P2E37: Battery Charger B Enable Circuit High
Standardized SAE J2012 code · P2Exx codes
What does P2E37 mean?
Battery charger B reports a enable circuit high condition. HV charging operation may be impaired. The on-board charger negotiates voltage, current and safety with the EVSE; a fault interrupts charging or limits it to AC slow-charge despite a DC fast charger being attached.
The code tells you which monitor failed, not which part is broken. Test before replacing parts.
Symptoms
- Charge status indicator shows fault
- Charging may not start or interrupts
- Slower-than-expected charge rate
Common causes
- High Wire shorted to B+
- Medium Pull-down resistor open
- Low Connector pins corroded - high contact resistance
Likelihood is a general estimate across vehicles; your make and model may differ.
