P2685: Actuator Supply Voltage C Circuit Low
Standardized SAE J2012 code · P26xx — Computer and output circuits
What does P2685 mean?
The third actuator supply rail is below the expected voltage. Battery weakness, blown fuse, or excessive current draw collapses the supply.
The code tells you which monitor failed, not which part is broken. Test before replacing parts.
Common causes
- High Load on the rail shorted to ground
- Medium Battery condition causes voltage to drop
- Low Connector pins corroded - high contact resistance
