P2630: O2 Sensor Pumping Current Trim Circuit Low Bank 2 Sensor 1
Standardized SAE J2012 code · P26xx — Computer and output circuits
What does P2630 mean?
The wide-band trim resistor circuit on bank 2 sensor 1 reads low. Air-fuel feedback gain on bank 2 is wrong, causing rich or lean offsets.
The code tells you which monitor failed, not which part is broken. Test before replacing parts.
Symptoms
- Check engine light on
- Increased fuel consumption
- Possible rough idle or hesitation
- Failed emissions test
Common causes
- High Short in the calibration trim resistor
- Medium Water intrusion in the sensor connector
- Low Connector pins corroded - high contact resistance
