Standardized SAE J2012 code · P24xx — Auxiliary emission controls
What does P2473 mean?
The voltage of EGT sensor 3 on bank 1 is above the calibrated maximum. Often a sign of an open sensor circuit or a short to supply voltage.
The code tells you which monitor failed, not which part is broken. Test before replacing parts.
