P075C: Shift Solenoid G Stuck On

Standardized SAE J2012 code · P07xx — Transmission

What does P075C mean?

Shift solenoid G only exists on transmissions with seven or more solenoids. Ford's 10R80 and 8F35 use solenoids A–F, GM's 9- and 10-speeds report clutch pressure valve codes, the Allison 1000 uses three; the only documented user of the G block is Hyundai/Genesis' 8-speed, which assigns P075A and P075D to its on/off solenoids. P075C means solenoid G is commanded off but its clutch stays applied, like P0752 for solenoid A. No manufacturer document available to us uses this code; Ford's 10-speed bulletins end at solenoid F. The description follows the scheme for solenoids A and B.

The code tells you which monitor failed, not which part is broken. Test before replacing parts.
